River water level warning system during typhoon

Dynamic modeling of flooding in tidal river estuary systems is becoming more common, but only a few studies have assessed flood risk from typhoon-driven currents combined with heavy rainfall. Our research comprehensively considers the typhoon's air pressure, wind speed, and rainfall to evaluate the typhoon's impact on the water level.

This project comes from a project simulation of a government project. The purpose is to use the LSTM model to predict the river water level during a typhoon (take the lower reaches of Gaoping River in southern Taiwan as an example), and provide disaster warning for government personnel, improve the accuracy of flood warning and management, Better protect people's lives and property safety.
